Hello everybody. I'm thinking about to buy SOTO and rush everything to unlock Skyscale. I bought GW2 way back in 2014 but never played until now, I manage to get 5 characters into 80 and had a BLAST with the game, I'm beyond hooked. Got a Mesmer, Guardian, Rev, Ranger and Thief all to 80 with this exp event. I'm deciding to go with Rev as main I'm on the Saddle section. I think I can do all the other currencies OK, but I am WAY behind on how much Essence of Despair I will need. Is there a guide somewhere or a quick way to get this, or do I have to ride the rift train for hours on end? Perhaps you’d have a point if you have to unlock the masteries on each character, but it’s an account wide unlock. Skyscale is an excellent mount and worth the time and (small amount of) gold investment. Also the masteries will stack with the new ones, so your Skyscale will be ever better with both. 1. The combination of horizontal and vertical movement, when used with gliding boosts and endurance regeneration can allow you to reach places that other mounts can't, even when combining them.
